Capacity Builders was launched in 2006 to manage the Government ChangeUp programme for the financial years 2006/07 and 2007/08.
In Hillingdon the work has primarily assisted in funding the HR advice & support officer which has proved a great success and greatly appreciated by local groups. This funding ceases in March 2008.
The over riding aim is that by 2014 the needs of frontline voluntary and community organisations will be met by support which is:
- available nation-wide
- structured for maximum efficiency
- offering excellent provision
- accessible to all
- truly reflecting and promoting diversity and;
- sustainably funded.
