Voluntary organisations, especially small groups, often struggle to use computers and information and communication technologies (ICT) efficiently - but these technologies can bring great benefits to our work. That’s why Hillingdon Association of Voluntary Services hosts a project to help voluntary groups use ICT.
We can give your organisation a free ICT health check, give you advice and support your use of computers.
We currently work in the West London
boroughs of Ealing, Hillingdon and Hounslow. Contact 01895 442929 to request advice or a visit.
HAVS has won one of the 18 BIG Lottery
funding grants for London to develop IT infrastructure
for local voluntary & community groups bringing £300,000
to the borough over 5 years.
We aim to launch the project in June and to provide
hands on, training and on line IT support to local
groups. Initially the service will be free but
developing over the 5 year period of the grant to be
fully self sufficient in 2014.
